Hi ASPers . . . aka Part 5 of the opening of this topic.

So, what is on the table for this section of this Business Meeting.

1.	Discussion of adding the Group Representative position to the
Steering Committee.
2.	Discussion of the duties and responsibilities of the Group Rep
position in ASP.

FWIW, I believe the simple answer is the best answer in this case.  Simply
adopt the GR duties and responsibilities described in the Al-Anon Service
Manual.

3.	Discussion of ASP's support of the Virtual Area

That discussion can cover 3 areas:

a.	A decision or resolution to support the Virtual Area.
b.	A decision to adopt a new formula for donating funds in excess of
the Prudent Reserve.
c.	A decision to immediately suspend any and all donations of excess
funds until this is resolved.

FWIW, I believe that:

a.	We need to adopt a resolution to support the Virtual Area in every
way.
b.	We adopt the formula typically used by many face-to-face meetings,
namely 60% to the District, 30% to the Area, and 10% to WSO; since there is
no District at this time, that those funds be donated to the Area.  
c.	That we reach a group conscious to immediately suspend any and all
donations of excess funds until this issue is resolved.  

The floor is open for discussion.

We will discuss this topic until Midnight, Tuesday, July 13, Pacific Time.
If there is a strong consensus to take action, then we may pursue that
course.  Otherwise, we will switch the discuss to next section of the
discussion on updating Motion #4.
