Fellow business meeting attendees,  I’m very glad that Allison has stepped forward to share her qualifications and stand for the GR position.  I hope that others who are qualified and considering standing for the position will do likewise.  I agree with the previously stated observation, that having multiple qualified candidates come forwarded would be healthy for ASP and the the new Area that is being formed.

The topic of bullying and harassment has reared it’s ugly head in our discussion.  I hope that the group can make use of “Let’s Talk about Safety in Al-Anon Meetings!”  https://al-anon.org/pdf/Safety-in-Al-Anon-meetings.pdf  These guidelines were published by WSO a couple of years ago and could be helpful in resolving any issues that exist in ASP.
