Hi ASPers,

 

Well, the results everyone has been waiting for are in. 26 out of 17 members
attending the Business Meeting voted.  A 2/3's majority of the members in
attendance is required, which was 18 affirmative votes to elect.

 

Alison for Group Representative

               For                        24           85.2%

               Against                   1

               Abstain                   1

               Did not vote         1

 

Anna for List Administrator

               For                        24           85.2%

               Against                   1

               Abstain                   1

               Did not vote         1

 

In other words, we have elected both Alison, our first Group Representative,
and Anna, our next List Administrator.

 

Congratulations to both!

 

As I mentioned before posting the polls, since both ladies are currently
serving as Daily Chairs and ASP prohibits holding more than one service
position at a time, both of them will start their service on January 1,
2022.  That does not prevent them from getting some of the bureaucratic
tasks behind them. For instance, Alison will be able to start the process of
registering herself with WSO as our GR and Anna will be able to shadow me
and get a feel for the job before being thrust into it.
