Hello Business pals.

I cannot see how I, being GR, would need much extra cash.
I can do video, zoom, or get the info from Assemblies and conferences another way,  I am sure.

On another note, I need to ask some questions, ones I really don't wish to ask of you because I feel kind of dumb...
I have never been Treasurer.
Nor Secretary of anything.
So, here goes,
What is a PR? Prudent Reserve?
I don't understand, unless it is similar to Petty Cash.
Is it the cash left behind the other expenses?
Or is it for a rainy day, so to speak?
Or for something like a GR's travel expenses?

There are a lot of acronyms I have ignored until now, but cannot anymore.
Following along with the string of business emails is very important for me today,
so, I ask you to please bear with me as I get up to speed on the Al-Anon vernacular used;
the jargon.

Also,  I have my Al-Anon guidelines for F2F GR, found it in a box.
It may be helpful to look at a few of the F2F duties to help guide me in an Online-Al-Anon GR position's duties.

Some on the list are similar to ours:

Attends biz-meetings and assemblies.
Keeps members informed on WSO info.

But then there are:

Public outreach.
Informs members of the need for sponsors and Alateen sponsorship.
Alternate GR????
Explains need of self-support, at each level, in other words, the Treasurer's job, I would think. OR does the Treasurer tell me and I tell the group?

Consults with a Service Sponsor.

That is the list I have, truncated.

Anyways, I am feeling overwhelmed and pressured right now and am trying to take it one day at a time.
