I would support changing the motion as stated at the end of the email below. Hugs,
Lynne

Hi Anne,
Your question ""Do we need to add an amendment to the current motion to say
that if Steve should be unable to file the incorporation documents. . ."
My take is that the key word in your question is NEED. Do we NEED an
amendment to the current motion?
Life happens. I spent my early years in a violent town (Chicago) where my
playmates were already stabbing each other at 4 and 5 years old. My dad was
a disturbed, angry and violent alcoholic. I spent 7 years in the Army
Infantry; another 19 years in the Coast Guard doing search and rescue in
small boats. Eighteen years in the fire service. I've been in a car
rollover, on fire, shot, and had COVID. Yet, I'm still here annoying my
friends, pissing off my enemies, and frankly not much worried about
tomorrow, but we're not here to discuss the issues that I am concerned
about.
In other words, I'm don't really believe that we need this amendment,
however, unlike some of the other ideas floated in this meeting, this
doesn't create any new problems so I don't oppose it.
The current motion would be amended to read:
=================================
" I move to approve the Bylaws as drafted and amended under the

renity-Place-AFG-Draft-2022-01-15.pdf.
If Steve is unable to fulfill the duties spelled out by Motion 10, then the
Steering Committee will ensure the incorporation documents are filed
appropriately."
=================================
I'm looking for a consensus on amending the current motion, so please speak
up one way or the other.
Love and SERENITY,
Steve
