Good afternoon, fellow ASPers,

I replied to Jennifer's request for further information yesterday which was
rejected by the server. My error in not crafting a new message☺️

So, to add to Steve's additional information:
This data is provided for informational purposes. We cannot necessarily
make conclusions based on the information given we do not control who
reaches out to us, how they go about doing so nor whether or not they fill
out a form of they are on our site. We don't have control as to how the
national Al-Anon site lists us, if they make a decision to change how we
are listed, in what order, etc. Nor do we have control over whether or not
they recognize other types of groups as Steve described has occurred give
the pandemic which creates more "competition" as it gives more choice to
the person investing what will fit best for him/her. We may certainly not
be the best fit for everyone and that's also okay.

We do not necessarily use this information to determine the number of
greeters as that number is set each May. We cannot forecast expected number
of new members so we work off of best practices and the experience of the
SC members and founding members.

For instance we have had as many as 6 greeters and as few as 1-2. We also
don't know how many people will step up for service. Some years we had only
1-2 and other years like this last May were we had over 15. What a great
challenge to have as the Greeter Chair.
