Hi ASPers,

I have a few "big deal" things to report this month.  

First, that it is great to have a List Administrator on board so I don't
have that duty to fulfill!  It's even better that she's rooting around and
giving us some real information about what's happening.  Thanks Lynne!

Second, last Saturday I received the documentation from the Washington State
Secretary of State that we are now officially incorporated as "A Serenity
Place AFG".  Earlier this week I received more documentation that allowed me
to begin the process of opening a new bank account in our corporate name vs.
the accounts we've had before that were tied to an individual and their
personal SSN.  Which leads to #3.

Third, the paper work has been forwarded to Anne to open a new bank account
in ASP's corporate name.  That should be completed next week.  When that is
complete, we'll close both of the old accounts and all the funds will be in
the new corporate account.  This will make life much easier for our
Treasurer, which is currently being fulfilled by Anne.

Fourth, I'm very pleased to announce that Lisa J. is our new and very first
Recording Secretary.  Lisa and I just finished wrapping up our discussion
and her appointment this afternoon, so this news is hot off the presses.
Lisa made her first update to the website today on the Tradition 7 page by
changing "A Serenity Place" to "A Serenity Place AFG" as the name to enter
on checks sent to ASP.  Lisa and I will be working closely on updating the
various pages of the website with the current information.  Congratulations
and a big thanks to Lisa J.
