Thank you Anne for reposting my message and for your thought out answers. I
think the sentiment from myself and others is that we don't want you and
Steve to burn out. Also that we as general members aren't as familiar with
the ASP policies and therefore don't know that we should be bringing the
vacancies up as a topic at least in the business meeting.

I do think it would be wise to announce the vacancies to the full meeting
so that possibly past service-eligible members would be aware and maybe
come forward to serve or to let them know of the path to service. I
personally don't think an email every other month with the announcement of
service positions/qualifications for service positions, business meeting
information is intrusive to the meeting, but inclusive.
