I am pleased to report the following ASP Financial activity since our last
meeting.   The ledger has been submitted to the Steering Committee and will
post this week.  Some actions were done over the weekend, so the balance
spills into 2023.  A breakdown follows, then followed with some detailed
notes/parameters when making check or online donations.

 

 

Bank Account information-

 

Soundbank Balance as of 1/2/2023  = $1600

 

Here is the breakdown of transactional  activity since October 31, 2022

 

Total Income Since October 31, 2022 -  $506.94

 

Total Expenses since October  31, 2022 -   $825.69

 

***Income/Member donations:  $506.94

 

 

***Expense detail.

 

*Esosoft monthly server fee: $198 ($99 per month)

 

*Paypal fees: $7.51

 

*ASP Quarterly donation to the WSO = $229.60(40% of funds over prudent

reserve)

 

*ASP Quarterly donation to the GEA = $344.41 (60% of funds over prudent

reserve)

 

*Zoom - December only = $16.27/month

 

*ASP Annual  Filing fee with the state of Washington  = $29.90

 

+++++ new notes about banking apps and checks drawn on foreign banks - 

*Banking apps are not available for donations - based on our research, we
are unable to use them at this time for a variety of reasons, most notably
that they are sent via email to individual members and not to ASP

*If you choose to send a check from a non-US bank, it will need to be in the
form of a bank check that reflects US dollars, if that is not possible, you
do have the option to use the ASP paypal account to send your donation.

 

+++++A note about Paypal and the family and friends option I have suggested
when passing the basket.  Several members have contacted me to tell me that
the option is not available to them when they make a donation.  I have
reached out to Paypal and learned that when we incorporated and opened our
business account at Sound Bank, we became a business and as a business no
longer qualify for the friends and family option.  Although we are a
non-profit support group, our business status disqualifies us.
