[Businessmtg] Al-Anon Declaration

Biz-Pals,

My face-to-face meeting switched from using the Lord's Prayer to the Al-Anon Declaration years ago because some of our members weren't religious, some were of religions other than Christian, and we wanted to use a closing which worked for everyone.

Out Declaration fit the bill for us, does not represent any religion's philosophy, and represents Al-Anon's willingness to be of help to anyone who seeks relief from the effects of living with alcoholism.

I am very much in favor of using the Al-Anon Declaration as the closing for any or all of our daily meetings and Friday's meeting in particular.
