[Businessmtg] Newcomer Lit Distribution

Biz-Pals,

Seems to me distributing newcomer materials digitally would be a real headache compared to sending out hard copies as was originally planned.

All it would take is greeters asking first-time Al-Anon applicants if they would like to receive the Newcomer Brochure, if yes what address to send it to*, then email those addresses weeklyish to some trustworthy old fart with nothing much else to do to stuff an envelope, lick on some stamps and them it down the block to the post office once a week. Easy peazy.

I'd be glad to step up to get it started tomorrow. Having done this once I know how easy it would be to do it again. [The only thing that went wrong the first time around was the person who volunteered to do it took a powder taking all materials with them burning us, which kinda put a hitch in our expectations.]

We've got the commitment to buy about 200 units already, needing only the envelopes, stamp money, and addresses. Reimbursement for these minor expectations would be a snap. How much simpler could this be? Somewhere there's a molehill wondering where the mountain is 😉.
