   Hi Business Friends,

   When discussion began regarding the suggestions how to promote service
   in regard to the SC vacancies, I offered my opinion to give it a `go.'
   My opinion was based first on the recommendation from the serving
   members (trusted servants) who are there, doing.  I also thought I was
   "keeping it simple' and admit also hoping for an `easy' solution to a
   long-term problem.


   When Jerry offered his opinion regarding "unanimous agreement" I had a
   mental "whoa!"  I had not thought of the possibility of one person
   having the power to override the majority opinion even after everyone,
   especially the minority, being heard.  This has really given me food
   for thought and I believe this is not the way to go.  Tradition 1
   ...."for the greatest number......"


   I like Anne's suggestion of the trial period.  It's apparent we must do
   something and nothing ventured, nothing gained.  We do not know if we
   do not try.
