[Businessmtg] Consensus reached

Hello everyone,

Thank you for your participation in the discussion this last week. I 
feel we have reached a consensus, which means we will now spend the next 
week developing and discussing a motion and that we are moving from KBDM 
to Parliamentary procedures. For a reminder of how this works, please 
see https://asp-afg.org/members/kbdm/.  We will be developing/discussing 
this motion until next Tuesday, March 21st.

Here are the elements of consensus around the Steering Committee's 
recommendation:

  	* That the Steering Committee (SC) is authorized to solicit volunteers 
for service on the SC,
  	* That the SC is responsible for interviewing and vetting said 
volunteers as it sees fit,
  	* That the SC may recommend candidates to the BM by unanimous vote of 
the SC,
  	* That candidates recommended by the SC may not meet ASP requirements 
for prior membership or service,
  	* That all other requirements and procedures involving the election of 
officers by the members in the Business Meeting apply.

I am now asking for a motion from the floor that contains these 
elements.
