[Businessmtg] Poll - PLEASE READ

Hi everyone,

Please read all of this message as there are important details below.

The motion before us is:

"I make a motion to accept the proposal as stated :

* That the Steering Committee (SC) is authorized to solicit volunteers  
for service on the SC,
* That the SC is responsible for interviewing and vetting said 
volunteers as it sees fit,
* That the SC may present such candidates to the BM by unanimous vote of 
the SC,
* That candidates presented by the SC may not meet ASP requirements for 
prior membership or service,
* That all other requirements and procedures involving the election of 
officers by the members in the Business Meeting apply."

The poll will close at the end of the day March 29th.

As a reminder, you will have three options to vote - For, Against and 
Abstain. PLEASE NOTE that this motion requires 2/3 of the attendees of 
this BM to vote FOR for the motion to pass. Since we have 20 people 
attending the BM, that means that 14 people have to vote FOR this motion 
to pass it. Please understand that an ABSTAIN or NOT VOTING is the SAME 
AS VOTING AGAINST!!!

The Business Meeting will be put on moderation after I send this email 
so no emails will go out to the Business meeting until the poll closes.
