Hi All,

I neglected to mention that this topic was raise in January and is a change
to ASP policy. We are currently following the KBDM process,
https://asp-afg.org/members/kbdm/. which does mean we will need to reach
consensus before we move on with the topic. Currently we do not have
consensus, with tomorrow being the last day of the month, we will extend
this discussion one more day and then close the meeting.

Please note, we started this topic at the January meeting and tabled it at
the March meeting so that the Steering Committee could present an alternate
to this policy change, and Motion 25 was made and passed after a discussion
at that meeting.. Agendas are here
https://asp-afg.org/members/business-meeting/business-meeting-agenda/ and
motions are here https://asp-afg.org/members/group-conscience/.

Please keep all of this in mind while you weigh in on this proposed change
to Motion #8 (and Motion #25). Currently, just over half the members of the
business meeting have engaged in this conversation.

Yours in Service,

Anne O.

Subject: [Businessmtg] Next Agenda Topic: ASP Steering Committee Service
Requirements

Hi Bus Meeting Friends,

We now move on to our next agenda topic.

***Should we change the qualifications to serve as an elected trusted
servant on the steering committee by reducing the one year prior ASP service
requirement to six months? **

This agenda topic was requested by the ASP Steering Committee.

The meeting is now open for discussion. We will have a week to discuss.

Thank you.
