[Businessmtg] 6 Months with a Service Sponsor?

Biz-Pals,

Are there any suggestions out there which may bring a consensus?

Obvious that over working our Founders isn't a permanent solution.

Relying on volunteers with less experience may have its own set of consequences.

Is there middle ground?

~ I don't believe we've talked about Service Sponsors in this conversation. What if candidates with less than a year of ASP service experience had an experienced Service Sponsor? Not much different than support from other SC members, but independent of it?

~ Perhaps the two elected SC seats to be held by general members* could have this minimum 6 month requirement; after their 6 month term they'd have a year in and be eligible for officer positions?

~ What about asking members who have 1 year's experience (but who may be resistant to taking on a 3 year commitment) if they could accept a 1 or 2 year shortened commitment?

~ Again, counting significant Al-Anon service outside of ASP?
