I was new. I remember the secretary reminding everyone to stay for the business meeting after the closing. 
I got up with most everyone else, to put away chairs and leave, but that longtimer caught me and said; we’re staying for the business meeting. 
I opened my mouth and she said; this is what we do, come on. So I did. The gifts are immeasurable.
