I am in support of Steve's solution "B". As a current greeter, I would have
liked more involvement with the new members, and with the current low
volumes of new members coming in; I think it would be possible to give more
time to each member, confirming which meetings they want to attend.

The digest format.... with our large volume of shares, that would be a huge
"dump" of shares all at once. It might be overwhelming, and as Steve said,
lead to reading only versus participation, so maybe not implement  that
portion of it.
