[Businessmtg] Thought Force info

Hi Sandie,

My post earlier this week was more tied to my decision making approach to
how I will vote on the districting proposal and did not tie back to the
Thoughtforce presentation. The Thoughtforce gathered some of the data the
Taskforce used to make the decision about UTC as the primary approach to
districting and while it was disappointing that they may have oversimplified
the process, I can only hope that we can build this out moving forward.

Where I don't have much experience is with the overall process of
establishing a new Area and with service beyond the GR level in Al-Anon. I
do know that change is possible though. Everything is glacially slow in
Al-Anon, right? It is why I am asking everyone to share their thoughts on
how using only one criteria set, UTC and meeting start times, will be
problematic. There is a lot of good info being shared this week.

In any case, I think it may be easier to add more depth to the districting
process than it will be to undo something that is more complex out of the
gate. And so I continue to lean toward a yes vote on using UTC and meeting
start time as the criteria for defining a district.

Yours in service,

Anne

Hi all. Thank you Anne O. for taking the reins on this.

Is your recent post the thought force ideas or is that something different?
Trying to wrap my noggin around all of this is not easy. I would like to
compare the thought force ideas with the task force thinkings. Thanks
again.
