I want to say a big Thank You to Anne, Steve, and Lynne.  They have been
stepping into vacant positions on the Steering Committee for years.  Their
commitment to the ongoing survival of our group is clear and above and
beyond the call of duty.

With that said, I don't think it's healthy for the rest of us to depend on
them to keep doing that.  I have high hopes for the upcoming discussion of
how to encourage members to serve on the Steering Committee.  This is so
important for all of us.
