Hello, All,  Thank you, Lynne, for your message today about list administrator.  I think its helpful to continue to mention attending the business meetings as a means of service in our shares about service. I recall that daily meeting chairs are asking to focus on service from time to time.   I remember we discussed the term limit of 3 years and wondered if it is too long, and maybe intimidates others from volunteering.   I wonder if we considered a 2 year term for the various roles more appealing since we have so many vacancies?HUGS,Jenel

Thanks everyone for the discussion on the staff reports. We will table 
the discussion on the donation of excess funds to the next Business 
Meeting and we appreciate your input.

We are moving to the next item on our agenda, which is the attraction of 
members to attend the Business Meeting as well as serve on the Steering 
Committee.

The Steering Committee discussed this on our last zoom call and our idea 
was to send a roughly monthly email from SC members on a rotating basis 
to the recovery meeting describing the position and what we have gotten 
from serving. As well as the benefits of attending the Business Meeting. 
I sent the first on in early September about the Secretary position. I 
plan on sending another one to the members soon for the List 
Administrator position.

We'd love your opinions on that as well as other things that could be 
done to attract members to attend the Business Meeting and/or serve on 
the Steering Committee.

We will discuss this until October 16th.
