Hi Margaret,
I am sorry that question got lost in the discussion over the archives.
The answer is no, there is no record of Steering Committee meetings or
discussions, nor are those discussions available for members to review.
It is also the policy of the SC that all discussions are private and
should not be shared in any way with any other member of ASP. Among many
other things about daily ASP nuts and bolts, we discuss sensitive issues
in the Steering Committee, including issues with members where we have
to name names in order to figure out to handle situations that arise.
That is inappropriate for any member not on the Steering Committee to
read or even hear about.
I also wanted to touch on the business meeting archive. The BM archives
are the record of the Business meeting and the archives are included in
our bylaws (approved by Motion 23,
https://asp-afg.org/members/group-conscience/, a link to the bylaws is
included in Motion 23). Section 7B of the Bylaws discusses the Business
meeting archives:
"The Minutes. The Archives of ASP Business Meeting email posts
maintained by the list software are Minutes of the Business Meeting."
Hugs,
Lynne
