Hi folks,



The first quarter of 2025 has been nice and quiet for your Treasurer.  No
shortage of other things going on, though, some of which I'll discuss in the
Group Rep report.



You'll find the Income & Expense Report and Balance Sheet below.  I should
discuss the issue(s) around our donations to our Al-Anon service structure.
ASP's Group Conscience #24 instructs the Treasurer to disburse our excess
funds as follows: District 60%, Area 30%, WSO 10%.

*	DISTRICT. We are part of District 53 (D53), which is alive and well,
so 60% of our excess funds are forwarded to our District.
*	AREA.  We are part of the Global Electronic Area (GEA).  As I
recall, the GEA went through multiple treasurers during the last Panel, and
they're on track for the same this Panel.  More on that in my Group Rep
report.
*	GEA uses "groups.io" for GR communications, and the only thing I
could find that was CURRENT about the GEA Treasurer situation were posts by
the previous Treasurer saying she wasn't the Treasurer anymore and don't
bother her. Other posts by the current GEA Panel confirmed that there is no
Treasurer, but nothing else beyond the fact that the GEA is beating the
bushes for someone to volunteer to serve as an interim Treasurer.
Eventually, I found a post in the groups.io forum dated 9/23/2022 with a
link to GiveButter.  Ah ha!  Since I knew from recent contact with the GEA
Chair that GiveButter was something the Treasurer needed to use, I followed
that and successfully made our donation to the GEA.
*	WSO.  As always, making donations to WSO is easy.
