Dear ASP friends,



I am the outgoing ASP Group Representative having served 3yrs in this
position, it is time for me to turn this over.  As Lynn noted in her opening
emails,  Steve will be stepping in as ASP GR moving forward - we are
transitioning the paperwork to establish him as GR with the WSO and the Area
and expect that to be completed soon.



OUR AREA is the Global Electronic Area (GEA), and we are Panel 62 of the
Global Electronic Area.



***The WSO defines Panel in the following way Panel-A panel consists of
one-third of the Delegates attending the World Service Conference (WSC). A
panel is elected every year for a three-year term. The elections of the
three panels are staggered so that a Conference always includes one panel of
Delegates with two years' experience. A non-panel Area is one that has not

Note that Panels are on a 3-year rotation and the GEA panel rotated
12/31/2024 - the elected leaders for the next panel that began on 1/1/2025
were voted in at the last Area Assembly in late October.  All but the
treasurer's position was filled at that time.  Since the election, we have
received no news from the outgoing or incoming elected leaders.  So, I don't
have any Area news to share other than sharing the results of the election
and the names and positions of the new officers as of 1/1/2025.

Vacant - Area Treasurer



At the district level, ASP is part of District 53.  At the last meeting
12/7, elections for our district officers took place.  The following
positions had volunteers for and were elected.  There is no treasury
currently and so no need yet for a treasurer.  The Districts were
established by the GEA in the spring of 2024 and is evolving.

Nomination of Jerry for ADR-unanimous

Nomination of Martina for Secretary-unanimous



The district meetings will continue to occur monthly, they will move to the
3rd Saturday of each month.



It has been a great learning experience for me to represent ASP as GR.  I
continue to be so grateful for Al-Anon service opportunities, an integral
part of my recovery.
