I’m wondering if there couldn’t also be some legalities around this. For example, if a member asked that all their shares be removed from the archive and not be saved going forward for privacy reasons, since they were unaware they were saved to begin with, how would that work? Could it be removed? Or would it have to stay part of the archive?

As an email meeting our shares, by default, are documented. ASP archives are password protected-available only to current members. And we have members that use the archives due to challenges with their email client. And of course, there is the Steering Committee’s use case when investigating a member complaint. Note that every one of us has an opportunity to make our email address anonymous.
