Hi folks,

OK, I finally finished the edits and fixes. I'd like to make a few notes
regarding some of the suggestions:

1.	Title of the Newcomer page. This is certainly open to suggestions.
Obviously, we can focus this page on newcomers that are also new to Al-Anon,
or we can make it generic and include new members of ASP that are not new to
Al-Anon. Personally, I am more concerned about the total newcomer as they
are the ones that are both overwhelmed with life and don't know anything
about Al-Anon.
2.	Twelve Step page. Historically, we have NOT posted the Twelve
Steps, Twelve Traditions or Twelve Concepts on the ASP website because that
would have been a technical violation of our annual copyright contract with
WSO. Now, that ASP is officially an Al-Anon "group" and not merely an
Al-Anon "meeting" we have the same rights to publish the Steps, Traditions
and Concepts on the ASP website. Yay. So, we could include a link to that
in our Welcome to Newcomers page.
3.	Administrative Links. When this page is actually finished and
published, the usual links at the top and right side of the page should show
up. For reasons that only WordPress knows, that stuff doesn't appear on the
page when I'm editing it.
4.	About reading a lot. Our experience is that most newcomers read very
little of what we send them. Or they may read it, but not grasp it. My #1
message to newcomers at my face-to-face meetings is very simple - Keep
coming back. Just three words. If they do, they'll get the message sooner
or later. If they don't, well I can't change that any more than I can
change the drunk.
5.	Literature Images. The original Newcomer's page included images of
several pamphlets. In particular, pamphlets aimed at newcomers. Lynne was
successful at getting that to work on the website, I wasn't - that's why the
new page does not include several images. Now that that's clear - do you
want just one image or several? What about images of books?

Obviously, we're out of time for this months' Business Meeting. I hope that
y'all have a great time over the next two months and come back with some
more great suggestions in March. FYI, if you have an idea, feel free to
send me a note about it, and I'll collect them for the March meeting.

Love and SERENITY,

Steve
