Hello everyone,

Thank you to those who voted me into this position. I am really enjoying
the work and my service to the group! This is my first report as List
Administrator. I’ve only been in this position for less than 2 months, so
please bear with me as I learn what I am supposed to be doing. :)

As many of you know, my predecessor did a wonderful job, so I am filling
some big shoes. Lynne was tracking a few measures of our membership to
share at every meeting, and I will do the same.  This information can be
useful in seeing the health of ASP.

*Membership April 1 – June 23, 2025:*

   - Current Membership as of June 23, 2025 = 298
      - the count as of April 1, 2025 was 302
   - Unsubscribes = 26

*Participation April 1 – June 23, 2025:*

   - Average daily shares/month:
      - April = 38
      - May = 38
      - through June 23 = 39

*Other news:*

In May, we had an issue with Microsoft email addresses bouncing which
caused 31 members to be temporarily disabled until I was able to apply a
fix. This was similar to the issue Lynne had last November with the
Yahoo/AOL email addresses.

*Secretary wanted! *

Have you ever thought about serving in a larger role for ASP? Do you have
some basic office/computer skills you’d like to use outside of your work
world? Come join us!

Job description:

   - Serves as chair of quarterly business meetings
   - Appoints and trains daily chairpersons
   - Appoints and trains recording secretary (also vacant – this is your
   assistant)
   - Updates ASP websites as directed by Steering Committee
   - Back-up List Administrator

As you can see, once you have some people trained, this job mostly involves
quarterly work. You might answer some questions in between, and there will
be some minor prep-work for each business meeting. Who’s going to train
you? Our founders, Anne and Steve! Who’s going to back you up? Anne, Steve,
and Tammy! You’ll have a ton of support!

Please review these requirements:

   - Must be a current ASP member with at least one-year active
   participation
   - Must have at least one year of previous ASP service from an appointed
   position
   - Members of Al-Anon who are also members of AA are not eligible to
   serve as officers of ASP or on the Steering Committee

This is a 3-year position which started May 1, so you’re already down to 34
