Hi Business friends.  I appreciate all of the shares on this topic.  Thank
you.

I am wondering if there is a way to back up all of the shares in the
archives? Remove them from the website, but have them in another area where
they can be accessed…….Make it available to people who are interested in
looking up something they might have missed.  Or just give members, who
request it,  a permanent access and no one else needs to know who those
individuals are……It’s not like we as a group don’t know each others
business…..we do……but we don’t go spilling hot cheese all over the place,
at least I don’t……gossip………trust……..HP……..and we only share as much as we
can tolerate to share on any given topic or day……….this would mean that the
SC would be the only ones who have access and able to grant access to them,
but also knowing who is requesting access, which the person who is
requesting may not necessarily feel safe knowing they have to ask to get
access, or know that someone else knows they need this
information…..Anonymity…….

i do think it is helpful for the SC to be able to look back if they need to
resolve an issue, which does come up every so often that I have seen in
this membership……..conflict does happen and not everyone has a bird’s eye
view on how to handle things at any given time…….

bottom line is that in this fellowship “ Alanon is an anonymous fellowship.
Everything that is said here, in the group meeting and member to remember,
must be held in confidence. Only in this way, can we feel free to say what
is in our minds and hearts for this is how we help one another in Alanon.
Whom you see here, what you hear here, when you leave here, let it stay
here, “. We all choose what and what not to say here………which is one reason
why we are here…….our thinking and mouths get us in trouble……as a sidebar,
when I first started my recovery, my anonymity was breached in a
meeting…….and it was a very disturbing hamster wheeling experience….which
took a few years to process….so I am not without understanding of
anonymity…..I would like the archives saved……I like having as many
resources as possible to help me process issues and situations…..helps me……
