[Businessmtg] A note from the Business Meeting Secretary/Facilitator

Hi all,  it is amazing how much can happen in a day 😊

 

It is up to the Business meeting secretary to gather the information and state the consensus.  And be sure that the consensus is fully on topic.  We are not yet ready for a motion.  I do, however, appreciate the enthusiasm.  The motion made earlier today is null and void.

 

Instead, we must first agree on the language associated with the consensus.  We started this phase of the meeting evenly split on the archiving topic – some who are not in favor of compromise and others who are.  However, based on what I have read, this is now the consensus that includes compromise and the consensus should clearly state/include the boundaries.

 

Archiving Member Shares - the server will continue to archive shares of ASP’s recovery meeting, however

*	Members will not have access to the recover meeting archives.
*	The Founders and current List Administrator and other active members of the Steering Committee will have access to the recovery meeting archives for their assigned administrative duties and business purposes

 

We can now move on to the next step which is thoughtful feedback on the language presented in the consensus.  We are NOT yet ready for a motion, I will ask for the motion to be made when folks have given their input into the language of the consensus.
