Anne, thank you for updating the procedure.    

My personal preference is still that there be no archive of recovery meeting shares.

However, I realize that there are certain situations that may arise in electronic meetings that are different from f2f meetings.  I’m aware that once I post anything here or anywhere else on the Internet, there is a possibility for misuse.  After hearing from our current and 2 previous LAs that the archive is a valuable tool for them to use in keeping the meeting running smoothly an safely, I’m willing to consider a compromise motion that allows only the SC to have password protected access to the archives.  That password must be changed when anyone resigns or rotates off the committee.  I can see that Concepts 2 & 3 have a bearing on this situation.  

Ideally the archive would not be permanent but purged periodically, if that is technically possible. This is an email meeting, so anyone who comes to it should be able to attend it via email.  Free email accounts are readily available to anyone who has internet access. 

My final concern is that there should be clear disclaimers for new and longterm members that shares are retained for administrative purposes.
