Biz-Pals,

First off I need to make an admission:

Despite having been your treasurer (long ago!), having attended ASP topic and business meetings daily and continuously, respectfully, for more years than I can count, and being financially capable of making regular donations toward ASP support, I have for quite a few years now not done so.

Without excuses for this neglect, I apologize and recommit to what I feel is my personal responsibility to financially support this group which has meant so me over past decades.

Knowing that our Prudent Reserve is kept fully funded gives one and all the security that, come hell or high water, ASP recovery meetings will be there for us no matter what for the next full year.

Further, that funds donated in excess of our Prudent Reserve are by Group Conscience passed on to Al-Anon's World Service Office (WSO) and District, etc. on a quarterly basis, means I'm also supporting these service structures in their good works.

There's a point where "Focus on Yourself" becomes neglect and I'm well past that that mark.
