[Businessmtg] Secretary's report - January 2026

Hi friends,


Since my last report, I have updated the website with the outcomes of our
last business meeting and attended one Steering Committee meeting.  I will
be updating the list of trusted servants today with our new set of recovery
meeting chairs.

Preparing for this business meeting included compiling the agenda topics and
then meeting with the Steering Committee to review ahead of posting the
announcement to the recovery meeting.  I am looking forward to another month
of chairing this meeting, continuing to practice and to build my skills
facilitating the discussions.  The time commitment is quite manageable.

As noted in the agenda, the Secretary role (among others) remains vacant.  I
am filling most of that role with support from Jennifer, ASP's Greeter
Chair.  Jennifer continues to recruit and support the recovery meeting
chairs; she recently recruited new chairs as part of the bi-annual rotation
and set them up for their weekly responsibilities - the recruitment and
'training" is a bi-annual event with rotation taking place on July 1 and
again on January 1.    This role is one that the Secretary is normally
responsible for managing.
