Thank you Jerry and Anne for the helpful information regarding the 
steering committee roles/commitment and how important and required 
maintaining confidentiality is. Your long-standing experience is worth 
your weight in gold!

I agree with the opinions expressed that the SC does not operate in 
secrecy, but rather works to protect the anonymity of each individual in 
our group. I also agree that the SC uses traditions and concepts to come 
to conclusions and decisions for issues that require resolution.

Thirdly, I agree that the At-Large position is an excellent way to get 
your feet wet for service on the SC and encourage anyone interested in 
what happens behind closed doors to apply.
