Hi Biz People,I still do not see the necessity for our on-line group to send out free literature. If this is what the group really wants to do though, then why not figure this into our monthly expenses for the year? If it is so important to send this literature to newcomers then let's do it and budget for it, not just do it IF we have money left over our prudent reserve? I would like to suggest that we as a group decide what we would like to do on a yearly basis for 2008-2009 and then budget monthly for those things. Then, at the end of the year, we could bring our budget up for review and change what we feel is necessary for the following year (or maybe a review would be more practicle on a 3-year basis). Example: I'd like to see the following expenses added to our existing monthly budget - free literature distribution (if we decide to do this), a small monthly contribution to OLA-OC and a small monthly contribution to WSO. I have always thought that it was part of our group's responsibility to do our part, even if it is very small part, to help support our service arms (which seems to be OLA and WSO). I think that if we included these contributions into our monthly budget then we wouldn’t have such a false sense of excess at the end of the year. Is there anything else that we would need to add to our budget for the year? Like what our OLA Rep’s expenses would be? Emee
