Item #2:  What do we do with the monies over and above the Prudent Reserve?

This is the matter for discussion.  There have been at least three 
suggestions that I have tried to outline to the meeting to keep us on track. 
They are again:

1.  That newcomer packages be purchased by our group and sent to members who 
voluntarily are interested in receiving one.  No breach in anonymity since 
in Al-Anon we are not anonymous to each other....we are only anonymous at 
the level of press, radio, TV and films (see Tradition 11).  The logistics 
of how this will be done are to be worked out by the elected Trusted 
Servants of ASP.

2.  Donating an amount of money to OLA-OC and/or WSO on a regular basis.

3.  Sending our Trusted Servants to the International Conference in 
Pittsburgh to represent the online meeting community.


#3 is in here because it has been brought up by members of this business 
meeting.  If it is something that the business meeting sees as something to 
do then it will be discussed in further detail in the following agenda 
items.

Facilitators does not mean that we are not allowed to voice our opinions. I 
am the Chairperson of this meeting.  I am allowed to give my opinion on the 
matters discussed.  I have chosen to provide background information to the 
members of this meeting as a matter of providing information as to the 
bigger picture behind the scenes of ASP.  All are things I did not know 
until I became involved beyond chairing a meeting or sharing in the meeting.

I would like to thank Steve for his background information because he is a 
co-founder of ASP and he has been here right from the beginning.  I believe 
his background information can fill in the holes that I have no experienced. 
I fail to see how the sharing of this information can be construed as 
"leading or pressuring" others to see things one way or another.

For myself and I think I can safely say on Steve's behalf that any 
background information that we provided was to allow everyone in here to 
have a larger understanding of what has happened in the past at ASP than 
what many of our business members may have had when they said yes to being a 
part of this meeting.

Hopefully I have clarified this for each of the members.
