Hi - On the subject of newcomer packets - I am in favour of newcomer packets being sent only to those who cannot attend a f2f meeting and are new to Al-Anon on a trial basis of 1 year at that time we would be able to ascertain cost etc., 

The newcomer would know whether or not it would be 'safe" for them to receive mail.  

Further I would imagine that we could have  a link on the "Welcome" that they would be able to e-mail directly to the person who would look after this (e.g. The Treasurer),
