[Businessmtg] Newcomer Packets

I like what Emee said about a Newcomer's Meeting.? Maybe we could add some additional service positions that would be willing to answer questions from newcomers.? I know that would have been helpful to me when I started.

It could get cost prohibitive to send $1.60 packets, maybe it would make more sense to send the cheaper ones that Jerry suggested.? However, even with 30 newcomers a month, how many are truly newcomers to Alanon, having never been to a F2F meeting, and out of those newcomers, how many will really want the packet sent to them?? I know I would have gladly had the packet sent to me, but my AH has known of my participation all along and does not have a problem with it.

So out of 30 newcomers a month, it could possibly be a quite smaller number that actually request the packets.
