Hi ya'll 

Some other things to think about: 

If we were to make up a information sheet to be sent to newcomer then it could be just e-mailed as part of the welcome and would not have to be mailed-some of this is already part of the Welcome.  

Then we should be using CAL - so should we be lobbying WSO to have certain pamphlets available on-line? - e.g.. This is Al-Anon. From what I can gather a lot of the newcomers do attend f2f meetings or have attended in the past so would not require printed material... We are not a literature distribution centre... 

Should we be putting out a general question to all members to get a idea if as a newcomer they would have requested a 'welcome packet"? Would a survey be beneficial? We can do all the calculations we want based on the #'s of new members but until we ask the question we won't know if it is what is truly needed. 

If it works don't fix it - also comes to mind...
