Our agenda states: 1.What  should we do with monies over and above the prudent reserve?
 a) Do we provide a newcomers packet to those who are new to Al-Anon and ASP, this includes purchasing newcomers packages and mailing them out? 
What I understand is that we WILL have a prudent reserve which will not be touched unless there is an unforseen emergency.  
Now we are discussing whether or not we will use regular income to provide and mail the packets.  It has been my understanding that, if we decide to do so, it WILL be a budgeted item..
I am in favor of the packets if some generous person volunteers to do the job.. I guess the caregiver in me hopes that this would be a job for a limited period of time.
