I'd like to say that . . .

I agree with Emee's that the Newcomer Packets are a regular expense and
something to be budgeted for.  In other words, a motion on the Newcomer
Packets would need to state that they are a part of our regular expenses.

I also interpret Dawn's point that the person who handles this therefore
becomes a part of the Greeter Committee.  I do not interpret this to mean
that this person has any of the usual responsibilities of the greeters.  

Since all of our positions rotate, this job would also rotate.  Greeters
have historically served for 1-2 years before rotating.
