Hello,
Just to clarify a point expenses are simply that. They are monies that are paid out for the things that our meeting requires. Should this meeting decide that we are going to send out Newcomer Packets, that would become a regular expense and a motion would need to state just that, as Steve has already said.
The person who would be the one sending the information out would fall under the umbrella of the Greeting Committee, however they would NOT be doing any of the other greeter duties. At present the Greeting Committee is made up of the Chairperson and two greeters. A literature person would have to get their instructions as to who packets are to be sent to from....the Greeter Chairperson. This does not mean that they would also be sending out Inquiry Letters or anything else, we have greeters who do this.
Like in the face to face world, service positions rotate at ASP. The most visible rotation is in our daily chairpeople who rotate out every six months. The greeters generally rotate out on a yearly basis if that is possible. All other positions are a minimum of 3 years at present. Check it out on the website...all this info is there!
