I mean no disrepect by what I am going to write, this is only my observation and a request. I do believe we are giving KBDM a bad rap by the way things are being dragged on in this meeting. I love the KBDM process. I understand the time differences around the world however, we do need to place a reasonable & maximum time limit for a discussion on each question. We could discuss this Convention until the Convention is over, according to the way we are doing things now. That is one way to control an outcome of a vote if you think about it and this is not how KBDM was meant to be used. We use KBDM in our Area Assemblies and no discussion goes on forever like this, instead of a weekend of business the Area would have to pay for a week, at this rate. We can also "call the question" for a vote to end the discussion when the discussion becomes like beating a dead horse. Discussions that continue over and over on the same subject are only attemps of maniplation. I would really like to see a reasonal time limit set for the end of this discussion (like by Monday, March 24, 6:00PM EDT). If this can not be done then I would like to CALL THE QUESTION (a vote taken to see if the biz members wish to close the discussion on this topic and then make a motion). I will need a second to Call the Question. Dawn, I know this is a trial period for using KBDM and not easy. I respect that you are working hard to do what is right. This is just not working well. I would not want your job and I think that members may not realize what a responsibility you have with this service you are doing for us. I for one, appreciate what you do and thank you so much. It is obvious though that this subject is one of those dead horses. Please end this descussion and let's move on. Does it really matter that someone says they were a GR on another on-line group?Maybe it is just a term they use there since we know that WSO would not call us that when we are not even considered a group. What does that have to do with our issue at hand? Can that be addressed in another business meeting maybe? Emee
