Hello everyone,

 

I like Jerry's idea of opening up this topic to the entire group. It lends itself to allowing everyone to particiate and be a part of the decision making process even though it will possibly create some chaotic posting. I think the greeter position scares people with the time commitment. Honestly, I don't think the position takes as many hours as stated. When people hear the necessity of having to check your email several times a day or weekend (I actually don't remember what was said but only that it seemed like a lot of time) the fear sets in around the responsibility. Even though we are an online group open 24-hours a day, this is because we are only a keyboard away and one can read the shares at any time or post a share at anytime. There have been times I've needed a meeting and there simply were none. Greeters have lives too and sometimes it just takes a few days to get back to someone because of the happenings of life. You'll have to forgive me here, but did we get a greeter volunteer? With the end of school year craziness my brain is fried. :)

 

As for the treasurer....I don't know the solution to that one. 

 

Dawn, how many members do we have now again?
