Hi All
I am Tara the Greeting Chair and the Secretary for this meeting .  I am going to ask that we let the process work and watch our tones as sometimes Email is not the best format for a business meeting.    I would also like to also say that I am in the middle of a move and buying a house and all that goes with my greeting duties So my Internet may be spotty so if I don't get back to you right away please be patient. Thank you

We are going to continue on with the election of trusted servants.  We have elected a new Treasurer, Kathy, who is in the process of setting things up for the transfer of that position. She is going to update us on her progress

Then we are moving on to the secretary and there are a few things you need to apply for this job they are listed below.


We suggest a minimum of three months of active participation before a member of A Serenity Place make themselves available for one of the meeting's service positions.  Our experience has shown that it takes time for members to understand the way a particular meeting works. We believe that a trusted servant's focus should be on serving the meeting the way the meeting is accustomed to being served, rather than trying to make any significant changes to the meeting.

 

The next position that is open is that of Secretary.  The Secretary is responsible for chairing the Business Meetings.  They post the position of daily chairs.  They are second in line for the List Administrator position as they work closely with the List Administrator keeping the list running behind the scenes.  

 
So this is the opening of the business meeting.
