My thoughts.

I believe that the Officer positions should require at least 1 year in ASP.  

Consideration could also be given to the amount of time the person has in f2f Al-Anon and service in F2F... I was very surprised when told that I could not chair a meeting until after I had been in ASP for 6 months when I had been active in Al-
Anon service for over 30 years.  I also know that we have lost some potential service workers due to this policy where they have volunteered and been told that they were not able to serve due to being less than 6 months in ASP but had 10+ years of Al-Anon service.
