[Businessmtg] Resume

Hello Business members,

I just read Cherly's resume and I was shocked to see the question (Are you a member of A.A? How long?) on that form. This question breaks a person's anonymity and has no reason for being on a resume form.

If a position requires that one not also be a member of A.A. then that should be made very clear on the job description, not on the resume. Some positions are ok for A.A. dual members and some are not. It is not our right to publicly ask someone if they are a member of A.A. However, it is our responsibility to make it very clear which positions are open/not open to our dual members of A.A. when we announce an open position. This is an honest fellowship and we trust that one will be honest about not taking a position that they are not qualified to take...we really do not have to ask any member to break their anonymity to take a position.

Thanks for your consideration in this matter,

Emee
