[Businessmtg] My thoughts...

Based on my experience with being my face-to-face group's treasurer for 3
years, I think that it could be very simple:

1) we set a prudent reserve enough to cover our expenses for a given period
(for my F2F, it was quarter).
2) everything beyond that is donated to the organizations that support us.

The organizations that support a F2F are the district, region and WSO,
along with possible an Al-anon Service Center.

For us here at ASP, we have no district or region, and our members are
covered by many ASCs. That means everything should go to WSO, IMO.

We have to trust that what they do with the money is sound and wise.
Otherwise they cannot function (the right of decision makes effective
leadership possible - Concept 3). If they don't do sound and wise things,
then it is up to the groupS to fix the problem, because "The Ultimate
Responsibility and Authority for Al-Anon World Services Belongs to the
Al-Anon Groups" (concept 1). We cannot anticipate problems or
mismanagement. We need to let them do the jobs they were hired to do.

The treasurer knows what expenses are coming up, and what the prudent
reserve is. Let the dispersal be every quarter so as not to overburden the
treasurer, and let's get it done.
