Hi  All. 

 

First of all I do want to thank Steve for starting ASP! I hope you know just
how much I appreciate it.  I have been busy over the last few weeks making
my transition back to Canada. 

 

Once again I am in support of our sending all or a portion thereof of our
funds over the prudent reserve to WSO and to continue to do that on a
ongoing basis.

 

My thought on the on-line Al-Anon - OLAOC. is that if Steve is to become
active with the "committee" that he can then bring to us if there are any
needs or plans from the OLAOC. 

 

The idea of sending funds to the GSO's of where our members are in
proportion to our total membership is interesting.  However some of our
membership are in countries where there is a no  GSO or a Al-Anon presence
which is a big part of why they  belong to on-line Al-Anon.  Any member in a
country which does not have a GSO is supported while not financially -
emotionally and spiritually by the WSO.  When someone tries to start a group
in those countries they receive support from the WSO.
