Hello everyone,

I am fairly new to Al-Anon and ASP...November 1, 2012 is my birthday!
Anyway, I am of the same thought as Jerry, first let's see who the active
members are. I would say that I consider myself active b/c I go to
weekly f2f meetings and I attend this meeting everyday, but I have not
"shared" yet as I feel too new. I mostly just reply to an individual share.
Therefore, how is a member qualified by their activity?

Is there a list of Officers and Officer Position titles?
At first I didn't agree with being in membership for a years period,
however, a newbie needs to get his or her feet wet in order to be an
Officer. That being said though, I have been on numerous PTO Boards and
Committees in the past 23 years and there are always a handful of people
that step up to do the job. Perhaps you would want to change the "year" to
someone that has completed the steps and is working with a sponsor? Just a
thought. When you see a year, it seems like such a long time away that
someone may just "lose interest" . Most of the positions that I have held,
I was just tossed into b/c of my work experience or personal history with
another member that was on that particular board. Since this is online that
is a lot harder!

This is my first post, I apologize in adavance if I did this wrong, Let me
know if I did, so I can do it correctly the next time. Also, I was on
vacation from 1/27 until this morning (I asked for a vacation hold, but it
didn't happen! I had over 300 emails when I logged in, is this why we need
a webmaster?!?!) and the reason for my late reply. I also not sure if I
have seen all the business meeting emails so pardon any redundancy!

I agree that the
