Thank you for all of the information shared>

1. OLA seems to be defunct. Financial statements have not been posted
for 2-3 years.. Information on their web-site is dated.

2. I suggest we are a little late to be thinking about a "common
room" for the International Convention in Vancouver.

3. I have not contributed to Tradition Seven for this group for a few
years as long as the discussion has been halted. I do not feel right about
it but I ensure that I donate more to my f2f groups.

This is from the 2012 - Wold Service Conference Summary which is avaiallbe
on the member's web-site.

There are currently ninety-two (92) electronic meetings registered with WSO
which include 37 telephone meetings and 55 internet meetings

70 -English

6 - Spanish

2 - Spanish/bilingual

2 - German/bilingual

2 - Russian

4 - French

4 - German

1 - Danish

1 - Portugese

Based on the 2010-2013 Al-Anon/Alateen Service Manual after our group needs
are met then funds then may be sent to local and Area structures and the
World Service Office. Our Area is the World - in that respect in my opinion
the only logical place for our excess above the "prudent reserve" is the
World Service office.

If there is something that we feel that the World Service Office could be
doing then after we have this discussion and a decision is made then as far
as our prudent reserve we could let the WSO know what concerns we have.
One thing I have found out is that every "registered" on-line meeting also
receives a copy of the newest Service Manual and a "Forum" .. everything
that is sent to registered groups is also sent to our "Current mailing
Address".. Have we updated our "CMA" address at WSO? There is a link to our
web-site on the Al-Anon web-site.

We will soon see "The Forum" electronically and there will be a book
available electronically.

Al-Anon Love & hugs
